     AQUINO TO LAUNCH MOVEMENT
  NOVEMBER 19, 2009
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Senator Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III will formally launch the Noynoy Aquino Movement for President (Namp) at the City Hall on Monday.

Noynoy, as Liberal Party’s (LP) standard bearer, will also lead the oath-taking of local LP members.

Aquino is set to blaze the province following Namp's organization here led by LP provincial convenor and chair Governor Eddie Panlilio.

Although the names of the candidates for the party were not yet disclosed by Panlilio, the line-up to be presented here is reportedly composed of "alternative" candidates "who underwent close scrutiny."

According to Amelio Vitug, Panlilio's chief aide, Aquino's party will first conduct a meeting with multi-sectoral groups at the Madapdap Resettlement in Mabalacat before paying a courtesy call to Angeles City Mayor Francis "Blueboy" Nepomuceno.

After the call, Vitug said Aquino will proceed to the Capitol for a wreath-laying rite at his father's monument there.

Vitug added that Aquino will also lead the symbolical tree planting at the newly renovated Arnedo Park before calling on Archbishop Paciano Aniceto at the Metropolitan Cathedral and ally Mayor Oscar Rodriguez at the City Hall.

Earlier, Panlilio told Sun.Star Pampanga that he would just "organize" the local line-up but revealed no names of possible candidates.

He also said that if no qualified candidate for governor is identified, he would seek re-election to continue "the crusade for good governance, ethical leadership and responsible citizenship."
